Birmingham haul

Yesterday I went Birmingham to do some shopping and I bought four things which I really love. Enjoy!!!

The first thing I picked up was the MAC mineralise skin finish in soft and gentle. This is such a beautiful highlight it is a champagne gold sort of colour. It has the perfect shimmer and let's be honest there is never to much highlight. I love the packaging it looks so sleek. This is the first time I have used a Mac highlight and I love it, I really like the fact you can use it as an eyeshadow as well.

I also picked up this hexagon shape pot in copper and it looks so pretty. This is a great pot for makeup brushes because due to the shape you can fit the smaller brushes into the corners where as in a circle shape it's harder to fit all your brushes in.

This Mac prep + prime is amazing! I love the smell of this product and it makes my makeup stay on for a lot longer. This also helps my eyeshadow become more pigmented because I spray it on the brush and then put it in the eyeshadow and it becomes a lot more pigmented.

In selfridges I saw this photo frame and I fell in love. I love the colour at the moment I seem to be loving the colour copper and rose gold. I've never seen a photo frame like this so that's why I bought it because it was different.

Christmas Eve GRWM

I can't believe it is Christmas Eve already, this month has gone past so quick I can't believe it. For this post I am going to go through what I might wear for Christmas Eve. Enjoy!!!

First thing to this is the Coco Chanel lipgloss, as the outfit is practically all black I thought I would add a bit of colour with this pinky red lip gloss.

The shoes are my favourite I love them so much, they were purchased from topshop. They are so comfy to wear. I am in love!!! Next thing is this skirt and again it is from topshop. I love the detailing with the black and gray it looks so pretty. It is quite short so if you feel uncomfortable in short skirts I wouldn't recommend but I do wear tights with it.

I have worn this top a lot this week because it is so comfy. This is from new look and it looks so good. I love the sleeves because they are not long and they are also not too short.

This weeks Christmas favourites

This weeks Christmas favourites is very different to any other favourites post I have done. Instead of having all the beauty products it's going to have necklaces, books and music. Enjoy!!!

The first thing which I have been loving is this piano piece which is 'not about Angels' by Birdie. I think this is such a great song to play on the piano and I don't know if it's just me but I think this song is quite Christmassy. It is about five pages long but so far I have only learnt the first couple of pages and it's going along really well.

I got this necklace last year at Christmas and this week I have just loved wearing it. I got this from my dads cousin as she makes her own jewellery, she makes these out of old spoons and jewels off old necklaces and bracelets and she scratches your name on it. I think this looks so pretty on and goes with practically every outfit.

Again a necklace is on my favourites, this one is a lot older as I got it at my christening. It's Winnie the Pooh and I think that it's so cute. The for around the kneck is quite short but it's nothing like a choker. This week again I have worn this everyday.

The Sophie Mckenzie books are really good and I can't put her books down this is because she always leaves a cliffhanger at the end of the chapter. I have mentioned one of her other books in an earlier post and that got me into her books. I still haven't finished the whole book yet and it's so good but I don't want to give any spoilers away.

Christmas essentials

Today I thought I would do my Christmas essentials, I always love to see these posts because I like to know what everybody loves during the Christmas time of year.

The first thing on my list is probably the most important to me and that is lounge trousers. These ones are from Marks and Spencer's if you're wondering and they cost £12. They are so soft and are great to just lounge around in. I love the design on this as I love the reindeer and Christmas trees because they look so cute. During Christmas time I have a huge love for the colour red, I think this is down to robins as you only see them in winter.

Another thing on my essentials is wooly ear muffs, the even better thing about these ones in particular is that you can play music from them through Bluetooth. I got these last year for Christmas and when it was cold these were great and kept my ears warm.

A mini hot water bottle is a massive essential as when it's a cold night you can snuggle up to it and it will keep you nice and warm. Again I got this for Christmas so I don't know where this was from or how much it cost. I really love the fluffy cover and I think it looks really cute. This would also make a great gift for a friend who always says I'm cold.

I have already commented on how much I love red in Christmas so of course I am in love at the moment with my rim meld Kate moss lipstick in 107. It is such a pretty red and it leaves your lips moisturised after use and it tastes and smells good. A lot of people praise this product and rightfully so because it is just an amazing product.

Outfit of the week

Sorry for not posting in a while, but to make it up to you every Sunday and Thursday at 5 pm I will always do a new blog post and also in the month of December I will be doing a merry blogmas so every night at 5 there will be a new post.

Over the past week I was thinking about what post should I do and then I put this outfit together and I loved it so I thought I would do outfit of the week. All of these clothes are from topshop because anyone who knows me, knows I am obsessed with topshop. Enjoy!!!

These boots are just amazing they are so comfy, in my opinion it did take two wears to get them super comfy but now I just constantly wear them. This is the first time I have bought shoes from topshop this is because I have narrow feet so at times I find it hard to get a pair of shoes which fit properly. These shoes are not too wide so I can get away with it but I do still have to put a foot soul in it so it would rise my feet up.

This jumper is just beautiful, I bought this last year from topshop because I went threw a stage of turtle knecks as they are so comfy. In the jumper there are three different colours the main one is blue but running through is a white and black colour. It is so soft and fits perfectly it is great to wear with leguins, skinny jeans or just anything in general I even wore it with a skirt and it looked so pretty. Oversized jumpers are just my favourites because they look good on practically everyone. The price of this was quite a lot at £36 I think which is quite reasonable for this jumper because I have had this for over a year.

The topshop Joni jeans are just amazing I love the slim, high wasted ones they fit perfectly and I have three pairs in different colours. Whenever I go shopping with my friends and they need a pair of jeans I'm always like go topshop. These trousers are expensive at £36 but they are worth the money as they last and so does the colour. These have lasted for so long and I know a lot of people recommend these trousers and if you get recommended them you should so buy them.

Quick buys

This weekend I went for a holiday with the family in Llandudno (we go every year) and always on the second day we go shopping so in this post I'm going to show you a couple of things I bought. 

The first thing I bought was a top and if you read my last post you would of seen I bought a pair of shorts and I loved the shorts, so when I walked into miss selfridge and I saw the same pattern but on my top and I got so excited. The top has two flaps and it leaves a gap showing your tummy. I like the fact that it's a high neck because I don't really like low down tops at the moment and it has a zip at the back. When I wear the top and shorts together it's basically just like wearing a jumpsuit. I was also planning to wear the top with some high waisted slim black jeans as I think they would look really pretty together.

The other top I bought was a top from topshop and I love it, it's so comfy. I bought this top to basically just chill in. The material is so soft and loose it's just great, I love the stripes at the moment. I think this top would look great with a pair of dark jeans or with some dungarees. The top is great as the sleeves aren't too long as you get some tops with really long sleeves and you have to keep rolling them up.

Floral shorts

Today I went for a trip down Birmingham in search for summer clothes as most my clothes are for winter so it's the time of year (yaaaaay) which I love as I get to buy a whole new wardrobe for summer time. When I was going through the shops and I got into miss selfridge I found these shorts and fell in love at first sight. These shorts were reasonable priced at £28 as they are great quality. I love the design of these shorts with the flowers as it makes me feel so summery and I can't wait to wear it in Tenerife. The flowers are so pretty with a streak of pink in them as it gives a great effect. The material is really soft and feels quite silky which is a really nice feeling. I also like the fact that it has a hook to keep it up instead of a button as I find buttons really hard sometimes and the clasp is much easier. When I was trying on these shorts I was thinking what should I wear with them and I was thinking a pretty little vest top like at the bottom picture or a really cute shirt. I decided to wear a black vest top as it will make the colour of the flowers stand out more.

My new purse

I can't believe that the sun has finally came out its starting to properly feel like summer now (me cheering).what a great way to start the summer buying a new summery purse. I got this from accessories and it was a great price. I love this purse as it makes me feel so summery with the bright bold orange leather on the outside as it just reminds me of summer. Another thing I like is the butterfly clasp as it just makes me love it cause I love butterfly's and it really adds to the summery effect. This purse also has lots of room for cards (excuse my subway card) and different places to put your money in. Also inside the purse is a really beautiful pattern with flowers and butterfly's on which is so pretty as it stands out great against the orange. This pattern doesn't just remind of summer it also reminds me of spring but I'm not sure why. Overall I think that the design of this great and stands out really well to other purses.

Pandora bracelet

I never see many people blog about pandora brackets so I'm going to give it ago. The pandora bracelets are a really good idea in my opinion because each charm means something to you for different reasons. I have two different bracelets as one is the normal metal one and the other one I have is a champagne leather coloured on which I love but you just can't put on as many charms on that one. The first ever charm I got was the teddy bear I wasn't really sure why I got it but I just really liked it as I thought it was cute. I got the four leaf clover charm from Ireland as it was my first time meeting some of my family who were from there and I loved visiting them as it was really nice to meet and I had a great experience. Another reason I love the pandora bracelets is that they're individual to everyone as many people will have all different charms to represent different things. The charms are quite expensive but if you want to treat yourself every noun again it's fine and if you got one every day that would be so expensive.
