March favourites

I can't believe March is over already!! Is it just me or has this year gone so quick already. I'm going to do my monthly favourites. Enjoy!!!
Clinique-chubby contour stick: there is a lot of product in the chubby stick which is great. It blends out perfectly and gives great cheekbones, if you love contouring this is the product for you.
Zoeva-100 luxe face paint: I haven't had this brush for long but I love it. There are no runaway hairs when washing or applying with this brush. It is made out of natural hairs. I find that the zoeva brushes always look so perfect. They are also a great size for traveling with.
Rimmel-wake me up foundation: this foundation is one of my faves, it has a medium coverage which I love. It doesn't go cakey which I always like with a foundation. I find that this colour suits my skin tone really well and it also makes my face feel so smooth. A little bit goes along way, with just one pump if you want a light coverage is all you need so it is build able on the face.
Charlotte Tilbury-lip liner savage rose: this lip liner is so pretty it draws round the lips so perfectly and it doesn't smudge. A lot of lip liners can be quite rough when applying but no this one is creamy. I really recommend this product.
Charlotte Tilbury-lipstick walk of shame: it's such a beautiful colour plummy red sort of colour. It has a matte finish some lipsticks with this finish are very drying to the lips but this one isn't. It is a very long lasting lipstick so will last for most of the day. I am in love with the packaging because I love rose gold.
Urban decay-smokey palette: at first I didn't know what sort of look to do with this palette because there are a lot of dark colours. Eventually I got the hang of this palette and now I can do neutral and smokey looks with this palette. One of my favourite colours is 'armour' because the silver has a lot of pigment so it stands out a lot more than what you expect it to.

Boots haul

If you had read my last post you would be aware that I was in Croyde and I mentioned that I was going to do a haul. All these products I'm going to mention are all at reasonable price as they are from a drugstore. Enjoy!!!
The first two things I bought were for contouring one from maybeline and one from collection. The collection master sculpt is great because I find it so easy to blend so you can make the contour as sharp or subtle as you want. The highlight has a perfect amount of shimmer. The maybeline master sculpt has to be my favourite out of the two because I think the colour is just perfect for contouring and the highlight is great as well. With this product it comes with a great sized mirror and will be easy to carry around with me.
For along time I have wanted to try out the collection concealer because I have heard so many good things about it. I haven't tried this product out yet so I can't say whether I agree with the craze or not. The other concealer is from soap and glory and I have also wanted to try this out for ages. When I first tried it I thought it was quite hard to blend with a brush but then I tried it again and it blended a lot better with a beauty blender.
This foundation is great it suits my skin tone perfectly and I find that it doesn't go clumpy on some of my dry patches which I love. It is easy to blend with a beauty blender or a brush as it doesn't leave any strokes. It does last a long time but I can't say it lasts for 25 hours because I personally don't leave makeup on for that long I put it on in the morning and take it off at night.
The Rimmel match perfection powder is great I put it on my oily places on my face like my t-zone, under eyes and my chin. It keeps my makeup in place all day so I recommend you go out and by this.
This boujoir blush is the best from a drugstore in my opinion I got mine in number 34. I love this blush because when you apply it to your cheeks it is subtle and has a shimmer to it from the gold running through it.
This number 17 'easy on the eye' is a great palette it comes with 8 nude eyeshadows, 3 cream eyeshadows and a primer. This palette would be great for beginners of makeup because they are subtle colours and they are easy to blend. Also I love that it comes with instructions so for a beginner they will learn what to do.

Drugstore winter makeup

Merry Blogmas!!!
Since this is my first year blogging I thought I would do a merry blogmas and I'm going to post everyday until 25th December. Christmas is my favourite time of year and this makeup look is so pretty and Christmassy. For my Christmas look I have decided to do it drugstore so everything in this look is affirdable and you can get it all from super drug or boots. Enjoy!!!
To start off this look I do a simple base with the Rimmel wake me up concealer and foundation which has great coverage. To apply this I use the real techniques expert face brush which I love. On top of the base I use the natural collection powder so my makeup won't move during the day, I especially have to put it over my t-zone and my chin as they can get very oily. To put the powder on I use the real techniques blush brush although I know powder is not blush.
I then apply the maybeline master sculpt with my real techniques contour brush and I apply this in the hollow of my cheeks and anywhere the  sun would hit in natural light. I then add my soap and glory blush to the apples of my cheeks because it looks pretty. This blush is beautiful as it has a little bit of shimmer on it and a subtle pink colour.

Once the whole face is done I move on to the eyes and I have been using the 17 eyeshadow. First I use the real techniques eye base brush and I use the lightest colour eyeshadow and place it all over my eye. This colour is beautiful as it has a little shimmer and looks pretty. Next I use the darker colour and place it in the crease of my eye to give the smokey eye effect.
Once those two steps have been done I take the maybeline liquid eyeliner and put it over the top of my eyelid and do a little flick. The final step for the eyes is mascara from natural collection it is not the best mascar but it was the only drugstore mascara I have.
Finally my favourite part of the whole look is the lips. I have been using the Rimmel Kate moss lipstick in 107 I find this red is just Christmas it looks so pretty. Also for some reason it reminds me of robins.

Foundation

I have been using this foundation now for a while as the coverage of it is amazing it spreads so easily over your face and you can tell the difference when you've got it on as it hides your spots really well without even putting concealer on. The colouring is so accurate to my skin tone my foundation is probably the lightest shade which is know surprise there. The only down part to the NARS foundation is that they don't always come with a pump so I pour it on the back of my hand and to much comes out and it's hard to put it back in the pot. If you have any advice of other products for me to try leave a comment down below.
